PluriCourts: Second conference in the ‘Identity on the International Bench Series’, 17-18 May 2018, The Hague

On 17 and 18 May 2018, the second conference in the Identity on the International Bench Series (Geography and Legal Culture on the International Bench) is taking place in The Hague, organized by the PluriCourts Centre of Excellence, Oslo University.

The Organising Committee (chaired by Prof. dr. Freya Baetens) welcomes abstracts from scholars as well as practitioners, including staff of adjudicatory institutions and international organisations.

Abstracts should address one or more issues relating to geography and legal culture of international adjudicators from the perspective of their effect on the legitimacy of the international courts and tribunals.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: 28 February 2018.
